We are seeking a Construction Loan Funding Manager to join Zions Bancorporation. The Construction Loan Funding Manager leads and manages activities related to funding, servicing, and processing of loans, including disbursements, documentation, and loan servicing for commercial, real estate, and construction areas. This role ensures quality service and efficient operations support for all internal and external customers, administers bank policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The manager interacts with various loan groups, participates in the formulation and implementation of policies and systems, and maintains strong working relationships with branch staff, lending operations, lending officers, and credit administrators. This position is responsible for organizing departmental functions and personnel to achieve goals, hiring and performance reviews, and contributing to the future direction of the department.

Responsibilities:

• Manage funding, servicing, and processing activities for commercial, real estate, and construction loans.
• Oversee loan disbursements, documentation, and servicing processes.
• Ensure quality service and efficient operations support for all customers.
• Administer and ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Interact with loan groups, branch staff, lending operations, lending officers, and credit administrators.
• Participate in the formulation, review, recommendation, and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and systems.
• Organize departmental functions and personnel to achieve goals and objectives.
• Responsible for hiring, firing, and conducting performance reviews.
• Maintain accountability for employee development and departmental performance standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• 4+ years of experience in lending operations, construction loan funding, disbursements, servicing, documentation, loan processes and procedures, or other directly related experience.
• Some supervisory or managerial experience required.
• Working knowledge of lending operational processes (real estate, construction, and/or commercial).
• Understanding of credit and management practices, regulations, and policies.
• Solid understanding of real estate insurance, title insurance, loan documents, collateral, interest rates, syndications, and affordable housing.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem resolution skills.
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to set and maintain high quality work standards and manage a staff.
• Ability to deal effectively with people in various job capacities.

This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the following locations:

• Houston, TX
