Zions is currently looking for an experienced Risk Officer to administer the Company’s Self ID issue management program, which includes performing data analysis, designing and preparing reports, and working with various stakeholders throughout the Company to ensure timely remediation of all identified issues. The ideal candidate has exceptional proficiency with Excel, SharePoint Designer and Infopath, and experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Qlikview).

 

What will your day look like? You will:

 

  • Manage processes related to the management and oversight of Self ID issues identified by internal groups.
  • Develop procedure documentation, training tools and other communication, which details the roles and responsibilities for the Company’s Self ID issue management process.
  • Design and prepare actionable senior-management and board-level reporting reflecting important Self ID issue trends and status.
  • Maintain a collaborative working relationship with issue management stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of strong risk management governance across the enterprise.

 

Who should apply? We want someone who has:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Math or related field
  • 4+ years risk management, analysis, auditing or other directly related experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Ability to work with various levels of employees and management and build strong relationships throughout the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to details.

 

Preferred requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability in developing and administering risk identification programs, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of various bank/government regulatory requirements and processes.
  • Experience presenting and persuasively communicating to various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to utilize critical thinking to identify themes and trends with issue data.
  • Demonstrated project planning and time management skills.
  • Experience refining processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
