The Retail & Treasury Portfolio department of ETO is looking for a seasoned Technology Project Manager to join its team.

This position will be part of the Enterprise Portfolio Management team which is dedicated to planning and delivering large scale, software projects including vendor-developed (commercial banking billing systems) and in-house developed solutions (account analysis & replacements), upgrades, and enhancements for treasury operations and deposits. The ideal candidate is a senior-level project manager with experience in both Waterfall and Agile/Iterative execution (PMP and SAFe certified SM preferred). She or he is comfortable working through ambiguity, is highly-organized, and is results-oriented. To be successful, an applicant must have the necessary skills and experience to exercise rigorous project oversight and control, and manage internal processes, including:

 

  • Oversee and lead the initiation, planning, execution, and implementation phases or sprints of the project
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, deliverables, and goals
  • Define projects tasks and resource requirements; secure resource assignments
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams including external vendors to ensure project completion
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge in project budgeting, monitoring and reconciliation
  • Track project performance against defined milestones/goals
  • Assess project risks, identify contingency actions, and develop / manage a risk plan
  • Determine completion criteria for each deliverable and develop acceptance plan
  • Effectively communicate ongoing project health with key stakeholders and business leadership
  • Maintain strict compliance with established project management policies and guidelines
  • Take initiative and produce timely results in a fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment

 

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of project management, including methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative), active Scrum Master certification, processes, tools (MS Office, Visio, MS Project, WorkFront), scope management, risk assessment, project financials, and resource management
  • PMP required
  • In depth SDLC knowledge required
  • Must have experience managing software development projects
  • Experience working in financial services, particularly in consumer or commercial banking.
  • Must have 10+ years of recent project management experience in medium to large corporate environments
  • Bachelor degree preferred; relevant experience may meet requirement
  • Successful track record of project delivery for large cross-functional projects
  • SAFe SM certification preferred but not mandatory
  • Polished executive presence and effective leadership skills; professional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Effective relationship management skills including building trust with customers, vendors, and internal team members
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and self-awareness; an ability to style-flex for the occasion and audience
  • Effective negotiation and facilitation abilities

A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

 

Ideally this position will be in Salt Lake City, UT or Houston, TX, but there is a possibility for remote work.

Pay Range: $100,000-$140,000

Bonus: This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
