Developing Future Leaders of the Bank
The Amegy Bank Banker Development Program (BDP) is a rotational credit and sales training program designed to provide a solid foundation in the basics of banking. It provides an opportunity to apply finance and accounting skills to assess credit and business risk, while also developing strong sales skills within the first year of employment through hands-on experience.
The program develops credit analysts into well-rounded bankers with strong prospecting and relationship management skills to be the company’s future leaders. It offers a defined career path, which begins with classroom training and transitions into the opportunity to rotate through various lending departments. Throughout the program, analysts also receive mentors who serve as additional resources and trusted advisors.

The Banker Development Program Offers:

We are currently recruiting for the Amegy Banker Development Program classes that will be starting in January and June 2024.

Summer Internship Program
Every year, we hire rising senior undergraduate and graduate students for our Summer Internship Program. Summer internships begin on the second Monday in June and conclude on the first Friday in August. All internships are full-time, paid opportunities located in our Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth and San Antonio corporate offices.
Amegy Bank’s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide college students with an opportunity to gain knowledge, experience, and exposure in the banking industry. It gives students the chance to experience hands-on work as a member of one of our core lending departments. Interns also enjoy a structured program full of networking opportunities, executive sessions with company leaders, training sessions, presentation practice, deal discussions. The combination of hands-on assignments and programmed events will leave students feeling energized, knowledgeable and excited about the banking industry.
